Abstract

The persistence of the omphalomesenteric duct is an uncommon anomaly. We present a case of a newborn which appeared with fecal discharge from the umbilicus. The umbilico-ileal fistula was seen with contrast. Omphalomesenteric duct resection and appendicectomy were performed.
