Abstract

Objective: It is a question of an article of review that he claims a putting a day in this so frequent problem and so often silenced and that they all those who work with children must know. Development: The sexual infantile abuse is a very frequent pathology, since it has an annual effect of 0.5 cases as 1,000 children; and a prevalencia during the stage from 0 to 18 years of one of every six boys and one of every four girls. This abuse often does not go out to the light due to the submission of the child and for which does not leave injuries, or to that when it comes to the doctor these have treated, or for that are of difficult diagnosis. Conclusions: It is very important that the professionals who attend to children are perfectly aroused of that the sexual abuse exists, it happens too often, and that they, as defenders of the child, must be attentive to the minimal indications to be able to discover, denounce it for obligation it, and to be able to defend to this defenseless creature before similar crime.
