Abstract
The authors report the case of a patient with a bilateral peripheral facial palsy which cerebroespinal fluid showed a dissotiation albumin-cytologic. This finding is compatible with the diagnosis of Guillain-Barré syndrome. Their recovery was complete and spontaneous. The need for studying in depth children with apparently idiopathic facial palsy is emphasized, since it could be a manifestation of a generalized subclinic polyneuropathy.
