Abstract
A three months old male admited to the Hospital with a chloride deficiency syndrome, was found to have a Cystic Fibrosis. As a result of this finding, the authors review the literature and recommend to measure sweat electrolites in all cases of hypochloremic metabolic alkalosis of unknown origin.
