Abstract

A three months old male admited to the Hospital with a chlori­de deficiency syndrome, was found to have a Cystic Fibrosis. As a result of this finding, the authors review the literature and recommend to measure sweat electrolites in all ca­ses of hypochloremic metabolic alkalosis of unknown origin.
