Abstract
Its role in the migraine prophylaxis. (Summary): The cerebral vasospasm play an importntt role in the migraine pathogenesis. It is produced by the constriction of vascular smooth muscle, due to an increase of cytoplasmic calcium level. The calcium antagonists prevent the vasospasm and therefore it is suppose that they may useful for avoiding the migraine crises.
