Its role in the migraine prophylaxis. (Summary): The ce­rebral vasospasm play an importntt role in the migraine pathogenesis. It is produced by the constriction of vascular smooth muscle, due to an increase of cytoplasmic calcium le­vel. The calcium antagonists prevent the vasospasm and therefore it is suppose that they may useful for avoiding the migraine crises.
