Abstract

The authors report a 25 days old female patient. She showed an intense cry and her parents supposed she suffered from strong abdominal pains. Hepatoesplenomegaly was found. The plasma was striking lactenscence. The Familial Hyperchylomicronemia or Type I Hyperlipoproteinemia diagnosis was made. A special diet with median chain triglycerides (MCT) cause a rapid clinical and bioquemical improve.
