Abstract
The capacity of tetracyclines for producing a vasopresine resistant diabetes insipidus syndrome is noticed. This effect, which is highest with demeclocyline, is clossest related to patient idiosyncrasy than to dosis and treatment length.
A 10 years olb boy with a brucellar sacroileitis who developped a diabetes insipidus when was treated with normal dosis of minocycline is reported. The disturbs also subsided very quickly after the withdrawl of the treatment.
