Abstract
Two children with pulmonary eosinophilia associated with ascaris lumbricoides infections are reported. The clinical picture is manifested by cough, fever, respiratory distress, pulmonary infiltrates, eosinophilia and elevated IgE immunoglobulin levels. Pulmonary eosinophilia in these cases represents a hypersensitivity reaction to ascaris lumbricoides.
