Abstract
We have studied 13 infants presenting an innocent cranial bruit. In all cases a cerebral ecography was performed through the anterior fontanella. A clinical description of this benign syndrome is presented in order to be followed by the general paediatrician. Serious pathology must be suspected in the presence of excesive growth of head circumference, continous or very intensive cranial bruit, hypertension, cardiac failure, alterations of the optic papilla, neurologic signs, arresting of the psychomotor development or exophthalmos.
