Fanconi's anemia. Clinica study of four cases

Abstract

We report 4 cases of Fanconi’s anemia from 1977 until 1988. The most common abnormalities, haematological findings, peripheral blood lymphocyte chromosomes were evaluated, comparing ours results with the literature. An increased incidence of malignant disease in Fanconi’s anemia patients and their relatives is discussed. Several treatments as androgen therapy, bone marrow transplantation and antilymphocyte serum were analysed.
