Abstract
The possibility of Q Fever should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a fever of unknown origin. During the clinical course of fever a significant rise in serum transaminases can be detected. Serological studies will help to exclude viral hepatitis and to confirm an infection by Coxiella burnetii. In addition the antibody titers of IgM and IgG allow us to know the lenght time of the infection. The two reported cases are different stages of disease's evolution.
