Abstract
A case of congenital hypoplastic anemia or Diamond-Blackfan erythroblastopenia of late onset in a 3 years old child is presented. Apropos of this case some aspects of red cell aplasia in children are revisited and especially, the differential diagnostic criteria between congenital hypoplastic anemia and transient erythroblastopenia of childhood.
