Abstract

A view of recent advances in the most commonly secundary glomerular diseases in childhood, excepting Schonlein-Henoch nephropathy, is presented. Beside the renal involvement which can be ohserved in the course of diabetes mellitus, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, scleroderma, mixed connective tissue disease and renal amiloidosis, it pays special attention to the kidney disease associated with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection.
