Abstract

The weight and height of a population of both sexes from Valencia was studied. This study included 1.676 school children (663 males and 1.013 females), with ages between 3 and 17 years of age. The results are separately expressed for every sex and every year of age. The mean height was 99.53 cm. for males and 102.46 for females at 3 years of age and 174.51 cm and 163.08 cm respectively at 17 years. The wight varied from 14.9 kg for males and 15,44 kg for females at 3 years of age until 69.6 and 54.07 kg respectively at 17 years.
