Abstract
The authors established a health program based on a person to person information and they evaluated the modification of child feeding during the first year of life. The advises were gave during the systematic visits of normal infants and it was the only kind of health promotion that they carried out.
This program caused an improvement of feeding guidelines and solid foods introduction. Nevertheless the breast-feeding prevalence was not increased. This result suggest that may be needed a closer relationship with women during the pregnant and a higher collaboration with the hospital staff.
