Abstract

The screening of nephro-urological pathology is the responsibility of general pediatrician and so this task is included in the routinery health checkup. We made a screening urinary analysis in 335 non-symptomatic children and this group was compared to 72 patients suffering several disturbs which needed to rule out any nephrourological pathology. A 25 % of non-symptomatic showed any abnormality in the urine strip analysis; this percentage was similar en the symptomatic children.
