Abstract
A case of an acute bacterial sacroiliitis in an 11 year-old girl with profuse symptoms is presented. Radiology was positive from the beginning of the symtomatology and bone gammagraphy confirmed the diagnostic. Medical treatment with antibiotics maintained for 3 weeks obtained a complete funcional and clinical normalization of the affected extremity. The clinical, diagnostic and therapeutical aspects of this uncommon location of the suppurating arthritis in a pediatric age are revissed.
