Compliance of fluoride supplementation guideline in a health care program to children

Abstract

A retrospective study about the compliance of fluoride supplementation guideline to 680 children was made. The study was focused to infant and prescholar children because it is the period of mineralization of definitive teething. Two hundred and fifty five children fulfilled al1 the criteria to be included ti11 5-6 years. The leve1 of compliance was 76,2 % at 3-4 years of age and 80 % at 5-6. In conclusion, the compliance was considered satisfactory in this program.
