Abstract
Hypocholesterolemia in children may be secondary to several diseases, but it is often a consequence of specific abnormalities in cholesterol metabolism. We report one case of asymptomatic familial hypobetalipoproteinemia and discuss the differential diagnosis with other primary and secondary hypocholesterolemias.
