Abstract

The laboratory findings, the therapy and the folowup of 84 cases of bacteria1 meningitis are reported. The number of leukocytes in blood and cells in CRF was decreased in the children with meningococcal sepsis compared to other groups of meningitis. The total mortality was 2.3% and 3.3% in the group of meningococcal meningitis. There was not deceases in meningitis by Haemophilus influenzae and meningitis due to unknown gem.
