Abstract
Abstract Laparoscopic is a minimally invasive technique, it has become an increasingly important diagnostic and therapeutic tool in pediatric patient. Pediatric laparoscopy has come a long way since the late Steve Gans first tried to promote the concept in the late 1970s. With the advent of modern video technology and new instrumentation, pediatric surgeons around the world are now applying minimal access techniques to common pediatrics problems. We focused our attention on identifying which procedures were truly beneficial to the patient. We must constantly remind ourselves that children usually do well and recovery quickly from most surgical procedures.
