Abstract
Abstract Extensive trauma is the leading cause of pediatric morbidity and mortality in developed countries. Possible aftereffects are reduced drastically when initial attention of pediatric trauma is fast and effective. Inappropiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) has been identificated as the main preventable pediatric cause of death, and initial attention of injured children occurs out of hospital, so it is essential a better quality initial attention of critical child. Forever, in spite of this, prehospital physicians admit their lacking formation about this subject. Spreading of standardised and sequenced guidelines of management of trauma, and a good formation and training for physicians and sanitary staff with the help of advanced and basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation courses and trends in initial evaluation of children with extensive trauma, they will improve children´s pronostic and quality of life.
